What is Inclusive Safety?
No matter what you look like, where you’re from, who you love, and how you identify - you deserve to feel safe. That’s Inclusive Safety.
We create Inclusive Safety together by standing up for our values. As #genEqualityUpstanders, we create a powerful antidote to gender-based and identity-based harassment and violence.
Created By Community
Launched in April 2021 across the five boroughs of New York City, the first five ISMS murals are designed and painted by local artists, students, seniors, educators, and residents.
Each Inclusive Safety mural is unique, but shares 3 common traits:
1) led by a local artist,
2) powered by the community,
3) has an interactive element with the words "You Belong."
Our vision is to bring the Inclusive Safety Mural Series to cities and states all around the country and the world - because Inclusive Safety is for everyone, everywhere.
