As a ‘play’ on our “Equal Work Equal Pay” activation inspired by the U.S. Women’s National Team, Equal Play Equal Pay advances equality and equity for women and girls in sports. Participation in sports, especially team sports, promotes health, confidence, teamwork, and leadership development for girls and women everywhere. Equal pay for, and equal investment in, women’s soccer players and programs should be a given - but we’re not there yet.

About the Equal Play Equal Pay program: In an effort to level the playing field at a grassroots level, genEquality is providing a platform for high-school and college student-athletes who are passionate about this issue. genEquality provides community organizing training, facilitates organizing campaign creation, and supports these student-athlete organizers as they mobilize their communities in making a difference at the local level.
